Most outlandish rumor ever: Apple CEO Steve Jobs to work in Obama administration

Usually I don’t report on Apple rumors as they are just that . . rumors that never come true. However, this rumor is so outlandish that it has to be reported.

Macsoda is reporting guessing that the main reason Apple CEO Steve Jobs won’t giv the keynote at this year’s MacWorld is because Jobs will take the Chef Technology Officer job in the Obama administration.

“My thinking was in that camp for a while, but then as I was watching the news I thought of an interesting possibility… what if Steve Jobs isn’t stepping down due to his illness, but because he wants to take another job? You might say, “Steve would never take any job over Apple… he loves the company! Why would he leave for another company?”, but my answer would be that he’s not leaving for another company, but rather for our government… as Obama’s new Chief Technology Officer.”, the blog post stated.

His reason behind this is because Jobs is visionary, friends with Al Gore, Obama uses a Mac, blah, blah, blah.

I can’t stop laughing at this.
